At TZEDAKAH FOUNDATION, we believe that social development should go beyond funding activities. Every resource invested should translate into meaningful action, measurable outcomes and tangible improvement in people’s lives.
Many social programmes face challenges in connecting funding, implementation and measurable results. Our vision is to strengthen this link by working closely with government programmes, institutions, communities, CSR partners and implementation experts to identify gaps, improve execution and develop practical solutions that address real needs on the ground.
We aim to bring greater transparency, accountability and outcome-based implementation to social development. Rather than simply supporting an activity, we focus on understanding the need, strengthening the implementation process, tracking the utilisation of resources, monitoring progress and measuring what has actually changed.
Through this approach, TZEDAKAH FOUNDATION seeks to complement and strengthen existing government and community programmes, bring resources and expertise where they are needed, and create solutions that are practical, scalable and sustainable.
Our goal is simple: every project should demonstrate where the resources went, what was implemented, who benefited and what tangible change was created.
Every project begins by understanding the people, community and problem we seek to address.
We assess the local context, existing resources, challenges and priorities through community interaction, field assessments and discussions with relevant stakeholders.
The objective is to ensure that our interventions address a real and relevant need, rather than simply providing a short-term solution.
Once the need is identified, we develop a structured project plan.
The project is defined with clear objectives, beneficiaries, activities, timelines, resources, budgets and expected outcomes.
Where appropriate, we work with CSR partners, government departments, technical experts and community organisations to develop solutions that are practical and scalable.
TZEDAKAH works with CSR partners, institutions, donors and other lawful sources of support to mobilise resources for identified projects.
Funds allocated to a project are managed with project-wise financial tracking and accountability.
We aim to provide CSR partners and stakeholders with visibility into the journey of funds — from funds received to funds utilised and activities implemented.
Financial management is integrated with project management so that resources are directed towards the intended objectives.

A well-designed project creates impact only when it is effectively implemented.
TZEDAKAH coordinates the people, partners, resources and activities required to deliver the project.
We maintain defined responsibilities, timelines and implementation milestones so that the project progresses in a structured manner.
Monitoring is an ongoing part of every project.
We track both programme progress and financial utilisation to understand whether activities are being implemented as planned.
Where a project requires changes, the implementation approach can be reviewed and adapted based on field-level learning and evidence.
We look beyond the number of activities completed.
The important question is:
What changed because of the project?
The specific indicators will be defined according to the objectives of each project.
Transparency is an important part of our relationship with CSR partners, donors, communities and stakeholders.
For projects where information can be publicly disclosed, TZEDAKAH aims to provide visibility through the website and project reports covering:
Project information may include financial utilisation, implementation updates, photographs, milestones and impact reports, subject to applicable privacy, confidentiality and regulatory requirements. This allows stakeholders to understand not only where resources were allocated, but also what was implemented with those resources.
Our objective is not to create dependency through short-term interventions.
Where feasible, projects are designed to build local capacity, strengthen existing systems and create opportunities for communities to continue benefiting beyond the initial intervention.
Where a successful model demonstrates measurable results, we can explore opportunities to expand or replicate the programme in other locations.
